Information you provide

Downeast Leathercraft uses the information you provide at checkout, including your name, email address, shipping and billing address, order details, and optional phone number, to process your order, arrange shipping, and respond to questions. Repair and custom-order inquiries include the contact details and item information you submit through our form.

Payments and service providers

Card payments are processed through Square’s secure payment form. Our WordPress and WooCommerce store records order and payment-status information. Hostinger provides website hosting and email services, and USPS handles shipping. Information needed to provide these services is processed by those providers.

Cookies and accounts

The store uses cookies to keep track of your cart and checkout session. If you sign in to an account, WordPress also uses login cookies. Product reviews you submit may be displayed publicly with the name you provide.

Optional customer accounts

If you create an account, we store your contact details, saved addresses, purchase history, and any measurements or preferences you choose to save. For custom orders, we also keep the agreed total, progress updates, invoices and payment status so you can follow your order. Email updates are optional and require a separate opt-in, which you can change in your account. You can edit your account details and measurements, or contact us to request access, correction or deletion.
